Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Surgical interest – RCVS accredited hospital - Essex – ER3479.44019

A Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical interest is required for a busy and forward-thinking RCVS accredited hospital in Essex. You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team that includes certificate holders. The practice boasts state of the art equipment including CT scanner, ultrasound and endoscope as well as MRI and rehabilitation services in house. The role will be full time, 40 hours over 4 days per week with weekends on a 1 in 4 rota. No OOH (due to the inhouse dedicated night team). A minimal second on call rota that equates to around 3-4 times per year. Part time hours also considered. You should be passionate about providing excellent patient care and pride yourself on building strong relationships with clients. Applicants will ideally have a surgical bias, an interest in laparoscopic surgery would be beneficial as well as experience treating emergencies. Professional development is actively encouraged.
