Exotics Vet - No OOH - Leicestershire HF3479

Exciting opportunity to grow your career for an experienced vet at a Small Animal Practice in Leicestershire. All levels of experience will be consider for this role but if experienced, you will ideally be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases, an interest in orthopaedics would be advantageous but is not essential. Due to the high exotics caseload (and growing) the practice is ideally looking for a Head Vet who has strong exotics experience. You should be keen to take on a supportive role and demonstrate key skills including building strong relationships with clients, patients, and the wider team. Managing a team of 5 vets - supporting the vets clinically and managing the team in the daily running of the practice. People management experience is advantageous. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week on a rota basis with no OOHs or sole charge. Working alongside the 2 Vet Partners and a friendly team of 5 Vets (one undertaking an exotics certificate), 5 Nurses, two student nurses and 2 Animal Care Assistants.
