Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Essex – ER3479.43744

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated SA Veterinary Surgeon to join a sociable and welcoming team of 2.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs and 5 receptionists at their well equipped small animal practice in Essex. The team enjoys regular clinical meetings along with outside work social events to ensure they work well together as a team. The caseload is predominantly dogs and cats with some small fluffies and exotics on occasion. The practice is ideally located a commutable distance from London but with an abundance of leisure and outdoor activities available close by. It is well kitted out with equipment including in-house lab ultrasound, digital x-ray and multiparameter monitoring. The ideal candidate will be confident with consultations and in all routine and emergency medical and surgical cases and will be looking to progress in their career. Skills in peri-paretic orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, and Cardiology will be beneficial.
• 9am – 4pm 4 days per week.
• 1:4 weekends.
• Bank holidays on a rota but no OOH.
