Equine/Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Cambridgeshire – ER550

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full or part time Equine and Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well established practice in Cambridgeshire. You will join a 9 Vet team including certificate holders with the support of 2 RVNs and 5 support staff. The team’s special interests include Orthopaedics, Medicine, Surgery and Reproduction. The case load is mixed and varied ranging from farm alpacas to zoo tortoises but there is a bias towards equine work. This is a mainly ambulatory role so holding a driving licence is essential. The practice is purpose built with facilities for equine and farm animal surgery but an equine referral clinic is used for more complex cases.
• Full/part time, flexible role.
• Full time hours 40 per week over 4 days, Monday – Friday.
• 1 night per week OOH on call.
