Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Part Time – Hertfordshire – ER3479.43439

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal team at a practice in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent part-time position working 20-25 hours per week, 8-10 hour shifts. Weekends on a 1 in 3 rota basis, Saturday mornings only. There is no OOHs responsibility with this role but there will be an element of sole charge with support from the nursing team. You'll be joining a growing team of 2 Vets, 2 Nurses, an SVN and a Practice Manager, and a small team of support colleagues. The ideal candidate will be confident with routine surgery and medicine and comfortable with small furries. The practice offers digital X-ray, a bright and spacious prep area, ultrasound machine, dedicated theatre, in house lab, separate dog, cat and isolation wards and 3 consult rooms. On offer is an excellent package including CPD allowance, paid memberships, and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
