Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - North Yorkshire – ER3457

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon at a busy and expanding Veterinary Hospital in North Yorkshire. The practice is a referral centre for orthopaedics, cardiology and soft tissue surgery and is equipped to the highest standard with in-house laboratory, ECG, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound plus more. The successful candidate will be welcomed by an experienced team of 8 vets, 13 RVN’s, 1 SVN and a supportive administrative team. Many of the team members are multidisciplinary certificate holders and personal development is funded and very much encouraged. Main duties will include consultations, surgery, hospital inpatient shifts and emergency OOH care along with all the routine first opinion duties.
• Full time, part time flexible to suit.
• Full time would be working 40 hours over 4 or 5 days.
• 1 week in 6 on call between 5pm and 8.30am (no day shifts during this week).
• 1 weekend in 6 on call.
• CPD encouraged and funded.
