Looking for a qualified vets who are up for a challenge and can adapt to the wide variety of cases seen at a Well Established Veterinary Charity Pet Hospital in Birmingham. Confidence in communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients is essential as is a willingness to share skills and lead by example. The hospital veterinary teams have varied clinical interests which means the vet will have access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience with which to discuss cases and treatment plans. The role is typically 37.5 hours a week, however, the size of the team allows for a flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out of hours required, with enhanced pay and stand down time in the week when a weekend is worked. The Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
