Looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team in South-West Leicestershire. Seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team on a full-time basis. The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for patients and clients. Nurses are the heart of the practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for the patients. You must be comfortable with leading by example, have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. Ideally you will have experience in a Head Nurse role, managing a team and enjoy coaching and mentoring nurses and student nurses. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team leader and will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations in the practice alongside a supportive management team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, 4 day week plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 2:30pm). Competitive salary, CPD, paid memberships plus more benefits.
