Well Established, Quality, Independent Veterinary Practice based on the Wirral are seeking a full or part time Competent Veterinary Surgeon. Busy practice, dealing very largely with small companion animals although the Senior Veterinary Surgeon also does some equine work. The team consists of 3 Veterinary Surgeons in the Practice as well as Nursing, Reception and Management staff. In addition, a locum Veterinary Surgeon comes in 1 day per week. Surgery is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm with a short clinic each Saturday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm which is shared between the vets on a 1:3 basis. Rotas for the Veterinary Surgeons are flexible and, being a small Practice, the practice generally adjusts to suit individual requirements. Growing and varied case load so there will be plenty of interesting challenges for the successful candidate. Looking to recruit an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to replace one who is leaving to return home. Ideally, the successful application will have approximately 5 years post graduate experience however, someone with a little less will be considered. The surgery is very well equipped with 2 Consultation Rooms, 2 Operating Theatres, an X-Ray Room, a Preparation Room, a Laboratory as well as Reception areas, Offices and Storage areas. The equipment includes In-house blood machines, digital x-ray, ultrasound and dental equipment. The practice is a short distance from Liverpool City Centre and approximately not far from Chester City and very close to the Wirral coast line. Liverpool and Manchester airports are within easy reach. Accommodation is generally available within a short distance frpm the surgery both rental and purchase.
