A seeking a dedicated and experienced senior anaesthesia nurse to join a dynamic team at a purpose-built, state of the art veterinary hospital in Buckinghamshire. Providing the latest in specialist treatments for cats and dogs, supported by an exceptional rehabilitation and physiotherapy facility. The nurses are actively trained in advanced anaesthesia skills, including nerve blocks, arterial catheterisation, and developing anaesthesia plans for critical cases. The responsibilities will include leading and supporting junior nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinic protocols, and collaborating closely with veterinarians to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for veterinary anaesthesia nursing with a minimum of 2 years experience. They will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional clinical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week - 4 or 5 days per week and you will provide cover for around 2 Bank Holidays annually. Earliest start is 07:00am and the latest finish time is 20:30pm, typically rotating between earlies and lates on a weekly basis. The hospital offers the most advanced treatment options available for Orthopaedic, Neurology, Soft Tissue, Oncology, and Internal Medicine cases. There is a 1.5T high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computerised tomography (CT) suite on-site, and the hospital has invested in the latest direct digital radiography systems (also known as radiographs or X-rays) (DR).
