Head Veterinary Nurse – Derbyshire – HF4745

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive team in Derbyshire. Day-to-day duties include a variety of nursing and surgical duties such as inpatient care, nurse consultations and monitoring anaesthesia (being a clinical coach would be desirable). The Full-Time position would usually involve working 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week. The shifts are a combination of earlies from 8:00am – 4:30pm and lates from 10:00am – 6:30pm. It also involves 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am – 12:30pm) and there is no OOH. Modern facilities encompass an x-ray and ultrasound room, a spacious theatre, preparation area, and an in-house laboratory for swift diagnostics. You will be working alongside 1.5 locum Vets, 3 SVNs and 5 receptionists. The ideal candidate will have experience within a first opinion small animal practice and a desire to provide a great clinical service to all patients.
