Looking for a qualified vet required for Veterinary Charity Pet Hospital in Leicestershire. A vet who enjoys working as part of a large and close-knit team providing consistent, quality clinical care. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, be confident in communicating with a wide range of clients and a sense of humour. The work is fast-paced and challenging so the team ensure that you have the work life balance that suits your needs as well as enabling us to deliver an outstanding service. There is a very diverse medical and surgical caseload and support vets in their development of clinical skills. The role could be full time at 37.5 hours a week or part time, weekends on a 1:7 basis with enhanced pay and stand down time in the week when a weekend is worked. The practice is fortunate to have its own night team so are able to keep in-patients on site overnight and there is no on-call. Pet Hospital has six consulting rooms; two dedicated theatres; large prep area; separate dog and cat kennelling; digital radiography; ultrasound; endoscopy; piped gases; extensive orthopaedic equipment and a supportive team of experienced vets, registered veterinary nurses and veterinary care assistants.
