Looking for qualified vet nurses who are up for a challenge and can adapt to the wide variety of cases seen at Well Established Veterinary Charity in Liverpool .Confidence in communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients is essential as is a willingness to share skills and lead by example. The vet nurse will be specifically involved in consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications and assisting in theatre including schedule 3 surgery. The veterinary teams usually have quite varied clinical interests which means you have access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience with which to discuss cases and treatment plans. The role will be 37.5 hours a week with weekends and OOH on a rota, flexible or part time hours are open for discussion.The Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and generally include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
