Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Hampshire – HF1248

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a team in Hampshire. You will have access to varied caseload with some consulting work and some surgical days. Typically, you will have one surgery day per week but a consulting- only role is also possible or surgically biased candidates can also be considered. This is a Full or Part-Time position. The team operate on a 5-week rolling rota with a mixture of shift patterns such as 4 x 10hrs or 3 x 8:30am-7pm and 1 or 2 x 8am-2pm. Saturday mornings are 1 in 5 and there is no OOH. Flexible working is absolutely considered therefore the practice is happy to discuss a rota pattern that would suit you. You will be joining a friendly, supportive team that consists of 6 vets, 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 ACA and 6 supporting team members. Well equipped with on-site diagnostic potential including digital x-ray machine offering dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house blood analysis including an Idexx Imagyst as well as also having K-Laser. Leadership experience is not essential, but you need to have excellent communication skills, high standards of client and patient care and feel confident in taking the next step in leading a team.
