Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – East Midlands – HF1570

VetPro Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team in the East Midlands. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a first-class, first opinion veterinary service supported by the experienced, fully qualified nursing and clinical teams. The role is permanent and full-time (part-time will be considered) working 40 hours per week, across 4-5 days. Consults are offered 7 days per week and the post-holder will be expected to participate in an on-call rota for in-patients only, with support from a permanent Night RVN team, one night per week and 1 in 5 weekends (Fri- Sun, with time off in lieu). All other OOH covered by a dedicated team. Team members include certificate holders in cardiology, surgery/orthopaedics, dentistry, and internal medicine. You will be joining a friendly team made up of 8 vets, including certificate holders in cardiology, surgery/orthopaedics, internal medicine, dentistry, 1 graduate vet, 10 registered veterinary nurses including 3-night registered veterinary nurses and advanced certificate holders, 2 student nurses, 3 hospital assistants supported by 12 customer care staff.
