Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Leicestershire – HF1905

VetPro Recruitment have an excellent opportunity available for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly team in Leicestershire. The practice is first opinion with a mixture of consulting and surgical time. Typically, with consults running until 10:30am, followed by surgeries until 1:30pm, then consulting from 2pm until 6:00pm, with the day finishing at 6:30pm. The consult slots are 15 minutes long. The full-time role is 40 hours per week spread over four days with paid lunch breaks. Saturday morning shifts are around 1 in 5 and there is no out of hours work or overnight inpatient care required. The practice is open to full or part-time hours. You will be joining a welcoming team made up of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Receptionists and 2 Animal Care Assistants. This is a two-site practice currently, with both sites having digital x-ray, modern ultrasound machines, operating facilities, in house blood machines, microscopes and dental equipment.
