Mixed Veterinary Surgeon – Full-Time – Renfrewshire – HF2723

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team at a practice in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The role will involve approximately 70% Small Animal, 25% Large Animal and 5% Equine, however, the role can be geared towards where the vet's interested lie so there is a degree of flexibility. You will be joining an established 18-Vet, two-site practice. This is a full-time, permanent position with 6 weeks holiday, plus a full week off after your week of nights. You will also be required to work 1 in 9 weekends on, then M-F overnights only. Giving you another 5-6 weeks off per year. No routine sole charge, 2nd on-call, and senior Vet back up OOH when needed. You will be helping with several routine fertility visits with weekly/fortnightly scanning, beef, and sheep farmer groups with regular social/remote meets, as well as bull/ram fertility equipment. The practice is well-equipped with mobile scanner, X-ray unit, and endoscope. Small Animal experience is preferred but not essential, as there is an experienced team of Vets and Nurses on hand for support and guidance. Car and accommodation available, if required.
