Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Staffordshire – HF1139

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team at a single-site practice in Staffordshire. The practice is open between 8.30am and 7pm and Saturdays are 1 in 4 working between 9am and 2pm. Working hours are open to discussion to suit the right candidate. No two days are the same here at this busy practice, and your responsibilities will include consulting, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and surgery. You will be joining a friendly team made up of 4 veterinary surgeons and 6 registered veterinary nurses, supported by 2 receptionists, a veterinary care assistant and an animal nursing assistant. This is a well-equipped practice including an in-house laboratory for haematology, biochemistry, microscopy and urinalysis, digital x-ray, ultrasound, flexible endoscopy, and dentistry machine. Certificate study would be encouraged. Ideally, this practice is looking for an experienced vet, though would consider a new graduate also. This person should enjoy being part of a supportive team, be hardworking, and be keen to learn and further their knowledge and skills. BVA membership. VDS cover. RCVS fees. CPD allowance.
