Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Lancashire – HF3732

VetPro Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a team at a practice in Lancashire. Ideally the position would be 38 hours worked throughout the week, but this is flexible and open to negotiation. The working day ends at 6pm and there are no out-of-hours. Weekend work would be 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am until 12pm). This role will involve a mix of consulting and surgery. Any areas of particular interest are welcomed and CPD encouraged. The practice is well-equipped with diagnostics including inhouse lab, digital x-ray, and ultrasound. As well as, the theatre is kitted out for soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, if you have an interest in this area! You will be joining a team made up of a dedicated Vet who you will work alongside, 5 RVNs, 3 receptionists, a practice manager, and a practice director. Ideally, the new team member will have adequate experience to be able to consult and operate independently. The practice can get busy so the ability to work under pressure is an advantage. RCVS registration is essential, extra certification desirable. CPD allowance. BVA membership. VDS cover. RCVS fees. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
