Small animal practice in Mid Sussex (15 minutes from Crawley and Brighton) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated vet with experience to join the team. Happy, busy practice offering clients a very high standard of care whilst maintaining a compassionate approach to our work. The team consists of 25 including 6 vets, 7 qualified nurses, 1 trainee nurse, 2 ANAs and a great front out house team. Several members of the team are under-taking certificates happy to support any area of interest which will increase the service offering to our patients and clients.The practice is purpose built with all the usual 'mod-cons' including digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities and separate dog, cat and isolation wards.
You will need to possess good general medical skills and the ability to work well under pressure and manage a busy case load. Most importantly we are looking for an individual who cares deeply for their patients, wants to do the best for their clients and who want to become a full and active member of our pretty awesome team
The role would be 2 days consulting per week (likely Wednesday and Friday) plus some weekend work (either 1 weekend a month or several Sundays) although everything is up for negotiation for the right candidate.
